Sumit’s passion for design led him to land a role as a UI/UX Designer at Shanti Infosoft.
Before entering the world of UI/UX design, Sumit worked as a graphic designer. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications (BCA) and has also done freelance work in graphic design. His freelance experience helped him develop a strong design foundation, which he built upon when transitioning to UI/UX design.
While searching for the best UI/UX design institute, Sumit came across Engineer Sahab Education through Google and decided to enroll in their UI/UX design course. The decision to join this institute proved to be instrumental in shaping his career as the course provided both theoretical knowledge and practical applications, preparing him for real-world challenges.
Sumit had an enriching experience at Engineer Sahab Education. He was particularly impressed with the mentorship and training provided by Monika Ma’am and Aman Sir, who consistently supported him throughout his UI/UX journey. In addition, the co-founder, Mohsin Sir, also offered valuable guidance and mentorship, which greatly contributed to Sumit’s success.
Sumit’s journey at Engineer Sahab Education included practical projects and workshops that allowed him to apply the principles of user-centered design in real-world scenarios. These projects helped him improve his skills in wireframing, prototyping, and problem-solving through design, preparing him for his professional role as a UI/UX designer.
One of the key aspects of Sumit’s success was the weekly interview sessions held every Friday. These sessions helped him refine his communication skills and gain clarity on interview processes. This preparation was crucial in landing a high-paying job, and the support from his mentors and HR, Sahiba Ma’am, was invaluable in helping him secure interviews with top companies.
Sumit credits his mentors Monika Ma’am, Aman Sir, and HR Sahiba Ma’am, along with the co-founder Mohsin Sir, for their continuous support in his job search. Their guidance and networking efforts helped him secure a UI/UX Designer role at Shanti Infosoft, an app and web development company.
As a UI/UX Designer at Shanti Infosoft, Sumit is responsible for designing user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing interfaces for both web and mobile applications. His role involves conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and collaborating with developers to ensure seamless execution of designs. His hands-on experience and mentorship during his training have enabled him to excel in this role.
Sumit’s advice to aspiring UI/UX designers is to deeply understand the design industry, build strong connections and networks, and practice consistently. He emphasizes the importance of continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends to succeed in this ever-evolving field.
