Gautam Sharma went from studying business management to becoming a UI/UX Designer. He wanted to create products that truly connect with users. Now, he works as a UI/UX Designer at Flow Inja, where he combines his business knowledge with design principles to make impactful digital experiences.
After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Gautam originally planned to pursue a career in the corporate world. However, while studying, he discovered his true passion was in creating experiences rather than just strategies. He wanted to directly impact people through technology, so he explored different fields before finding his calling in UI/UX design. This transition allowed him to apply his analytical skills in a more creative context, which became his true passion.
After doing a lot of research, Gautam found Engineer Sahab Education and decided it was the best platform to switch to UI/UX. Gautam says, “Their program offered the right mix of creativity and practical application, which was exactly what I needed.” With mentors like Rakesh Sir, Shreyansh Sir, and Aditya Sir guiding him, Gautam gained hands-on experience and a thorough understanding of UI/UX fundamentals. He says, “They helped me turn my business-oriented thinking into user-centered design.”

Gautam confidently started job hunting with the help of Engineer Sahab Education’s placement team. The team assisted with interview preparation, refining his portfolio, and improving his presentation skills. “Their guidance was a game-changer, especially in helping me communicate my transition from business management to UI/UX,” he notes.
